Goalball UK National Development Manager Becky Ashworth has been elected to lead the new IBSA youth Subcommittee. This is an exciting time for the sport and a great opportunity for people across the world to come together to develop youth provisions in goalball globally.
Becky Ashworth said about the new role; “I am excited to be taking on this role as I feel we can make a huge impact in further developing the sport over the next couple of years. There are more and more junior competitions appearing on the calendar and to be able to help. Also it is great to have more presence from the UK within the international federation as it will help to raise our standards here.”
