On Monday, 3 schools from across North Yorkshire came together to take part in the Goalball competition of the North Yorkshire School Games.

The players were aged between 14 – 16 and included Antonia Bunyan, who in April represented Great Britain at an International competition in Poland!

The competition took a round robin format, with each school competing against each other twice. The final results were as follows:

1st – Fulford

2nd – Huntington

3rd – Mowbray

The competition was well contested with great sportsmanship between the 3 schools.

We would like to congratulate all the competitors on their performance and attitude. Also, a huge thank you to the young leaders who helped with officiating! Hopefully we will see these young players and leaders at a Goalball UK tournament in the future!
