Goalball UK’s Youth Forum are pleased to announce Summer Camp is returning in 2024! The camp will feature lots of opportunities to socialise with old and new friends, as well as practice your goalball skills, drills, and games!
The camp will run Monday 5th August 2024, arrival between 11-11:30am, through to Wednesday 7th August 2024, departure from 3:30pm.
Summer Camp 2024 is open to existing players, aged between 12 and 17 years, alongside players (12-17) who are new to the sport. For example, players who have attended school sessions or only just started out with their club. For the purpose of clarity, age eligibility is based on the what the player’s age would be during the camp.
Goalball UK staff and Youth Forum members on the camp will be there to support all players to have a great time. Goalball UK staff and Youth Forum members will also ensure all players undertake the necessary orientation for themselves (e.g., showing them around their rooms, learning key routes, etc.). However, any young person attending must be independent in terms of their personal hygiene and getting dressed etc.

Staffordshire University – Stoke-on-Trent Campus, Leek Road, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 2YJ.

Accommodation:
Single bedroom student accommodation on campus, with towels and bedding provided. Bathrooms are individual locking shower and toilet cubicles within a shared section in each flat, which will be split by gender.
Meals:
Meals will be provided throughout the camp (there will be no lunch provided on Monday 5th August).
Entries close at 5pm on Friday 5th July. Places at Summer Camp will be allocated after this deadline, which you will be notified either way by 5pm on Friday 12th July.
Your place is NOT confirmed until the allocation process has taken place after the deadline for entries has closed.
