Each Friday we are selecting our favourite social media activity from the Goalball Family and beyond.
We hope that this round-up can help to keep you entertained and provide inspiration to stay active!!
We’ll start over at RNC, where this week Great Britain star Meme Robertson has been using her skill and knowledge of the game to help young aspiring goalballers…
After completing her own training for the day, @RNC_Hereford student & @TalentedAthlete/@GoalballUK athlete @RobertsonMeme has been helping coach within Sports Academy lessons. A fantastic opportunity for students to learn from their experienced peers 👏#sharingknowledge #TeamRNC pic.twitter.com/coBjtYMw3W

We loved this message from the brilliant Joe Roper – it has been a pleasure to help you with your journey and long may it continue!
And of course a mention to the national governing body @GoalballUK because without them I wouldn't be able to play/compete in the sport that I love with my #goalballfamily 😁😁 pic.twitter.com/icITA2YILm

It was fantastic to see Cambridge Dons in the news this week talking about the impact that lockdown has had on indoor grassroot sports…
"the support that comes from our team is incredible and I certainly feel that helps keep us together and picks us all up from time to time."

The power of the #goalballfamily
Great coverage for @CambridgeDons / #goalball from @CambridgeIndy https://t.co/8sHqqNm3cd
It wouldn’t be a weekly round-up if there wasn’t a shout-out to another school embracing goalball!
Today in Year 4, we started to learn about how to to play goalball! We watched how it’s played at the @Paralympics and then discussed what skills we would need. We then played games to develop these skills. We already can’t wait to play an actual game😃@GoalballUK @ParalympicsGB pic.twitter.com/43OrwqEN7g

And finally, the wonderful Winchester lot have completed their virtual tour of the #GoalballFamily – outstanding work and now time for a well-deserved rest before we see you on court again!
We’ve made it to the end of our 2400km trip! 😀 Huge thank you to all the #GoalballFamily for welcoming us along the way! 👏🏼 Now time to put our feet up and rest, but before that, a chance to party and celebrate! 🥳 pic.twitter.com/Dc6RWM6KWx
