Each week we are digging through the Goalball UK archives to look back at some of our favourite memories from the sport from years gone by.
As it is Small Charity Week, we’re looking back over the last couple of months to reflect on the incredible effort the Goalball Family made to raise funds through a series of 2.6 challenges.
From everyone at Goalball UK, we want to say a massive thank you to each of you that took on a challenge, donated or even just shared the content on social media. The funds and awareness you helped raise are so important for us.
As a small charity, this situation has been incredibly difficult for many reasons. But the comradery and spirit of the Goalball Family has been truly remarkable and it is something we are immeasurably grateful for.
From three-legged walks and running marathons, to rowing and head shaving, there was certainly an extensive range of fundraising activities that inspired us and made us smile in equal measure.
Here’s just some of what has been going on over the last few months…
