Team Information

March, Cambridgeshire based Fen Tigers were formed in 2016 after GB Men’s and Women’s players Dan Roper and Laura Perry returned home from their studies at the Royal National College for the Blind (RNC). With their passion and experience, they quickly rose through the ranks of Goalball UK competitions and have become one of the most successful goalball clubs in the UK winning gold medals at all 3 levels of play (novice, intermediate, and elite).

Fen Tigers will be in high spirits as they finished first in the Super League (elite) this season and have qualified for the National Finals. The Tigers will look to continue their fine form by winning 15 out of their 16 league games!

As well as domestic success, the Tigers are no strangers to taking to the international stage as they have travelled to Malmo, Sweden on 3 occasions for the European Parasports Games where in 2019 they became the 1st British team to win gold. The Tigers have also competed in Stage 1 of the 2022 Super European Goalball League which features some of the best teams and players in Europe!
