What is goalball?

Goalball is a fast-paced Paralympic team sport designed for blind and partially sighted people. It’s three-a-side and the aim of the game is to score past your opponent using a weighted ball with bells in. All players wear eyeshades to make it an even playing field.

At this level, goalball players can throw up to 50mph, making it a fast but brutal game!
