GB squad announcement!
Goalball UK are thrilled to announce the 13 talented athletes who will be representing Great Britain at the inaugural Goalball UK International Trophy 2025 this summer.
Taking place at Surrey Sports Park from 11–13 July, this exciting new tournament marks the first international goalball event hosted by Goalball UK in over a decade.
Our GB Men’s and Women’s teams will go head-to-head with international opponents from Brazil (U23s), Canada, France, Spain, and Qatar as part of their journey towards the IBSA European Championships in Finland this October.

Gary Fraser, High-Performance Lead at Goalball UK, said: “it is always a privilege to compete internationally, and we are all looking forward to the event, especially as it’s on home soil. This is a significant step towards the European Championships later this year, and we have taken the opportunity to select some players and staff, who will be representing Great Britain (at this level) for the first time.
We look forward to refining our approaches on and off court, in what we’re sure will be a highly competitive environment”.
