Goalball glory at Goalfix Cup 2023 – A celebration of triumph, teamwork, and unforgettable moments!
On a sunny weekend in Worcester, Goalball UK delivered the 2023 Goalfix Cup – the most prestigious goalball competition in the UK calendar.
Eight Super League teams from across the country came together, with their supporters, coaches and the Goalball UK team to experience a weekend of fierce competition, companionship and fun.
The level of play was superb, with thrills and spills aplenty as standings in the three-day tournament cumulated with Sunday’s finals.
After some very tense moments, the final came down to 2019 and 2022 defending champions Northern Allstars and 2018 champions Fen Tigers. Meeting each other goal for goal during the game, eventually Fen Tigers took the lead in a strong second half and closed the game with a 13 – 8 win.
