It’s #SportsAidWeek! This week is a week dedicated to the amazing support SportsAid have provided talented athletes of the future over the last 45 years!

SportsAid week will take place from 20-26th September as part of their 45th anniversary! SportsAid is a fantastic charity which enriches the lives of talented young athletes by recognizing and nurturing their abilities through and beyond sport.

SportsAid support athletes from over 60 sports, majority of which feature in the Olympics and Paralympics, including goalball! SportsAid have been an incredibly influential charity for goalball athletes to pursue their dreams of representing Great Britain on an international stage.

SportsAid have supported Goalball UK and members of the #GoalballFamily in many ways over the years, including:

  • COVID athlete support grants

With SportsAid’s support, many of the current Great Britain squad and our up-and-coming goalball athletes can continue their journeys in goalball to fulfill their full potential, thank you SportsAid!
