Goalball UK’s Performance Team have opened the doors to new applicants to join the Performance Pathway.
We’re looking for players of all ages who want to get involved in a fast paced, dynamic and exciting team sport designed specifically for people who are blind and partially sighted.
It doesn’t matter if you are new to goalball, play another sport or only have limited experience with sport. This round is open to all and we welcome applications from all ages.

As Goalball UK prepare for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games we are searching for new players to make an impact in our sport. With a newly developed performance pathway programme, new coaches and staff, there has never been a better time to realise your potential.
We are looking for existing goalball players looking for an opportunity, new players to the sport and anyone who would like to talent transfer into the sport. There are a number of age, gender and ability specific opportunities all designed to support you as an individual on your goalball journey. Including: –
- Aspire Days (Under 18 or anyone new to goalball)
- Female Futures (Female only events)
- Talent Identification Days (Over 18)
- Fast Track; Players showing high level transferable skills (All Ages)
Regardless of age, stage and ability everyone can compete in our club and domestic league structure. We are also one of the few para sports that individuals do not require a national classification to compete to the highest level within the United Kingdom.

Forms can be completed by the individual, parents/guardians/carers or by coaches/club staff.
