Oundle School Sports Centre
We’re thrilled to have secured the perfect venue for the tournament at Oundle School, one of Britain’s top co-educational boarding and day schools. The school’s top-tier athletic facility, built in 2020, features an impressive eight-court sports hall with seating for 480 spectators and six exclusive changing rooms—set to be the heart of our event.
Beyond the courts, the venue offers a variety of suites and studios that will enhance the event experience, including a fully equipped commercial kitchen where delicious lunches will be served to players and volunteers. Adding to the excitement, the venue also features a stylish café adjacent to the swimming pool, offering a fantastic selection of snacks, coffees, teas, hot chocolates, and cold drinks—including amazing milkshakes, smoothies, fruit ices, and iced teas. It’s the perfect spot to relax and recharge!

Upon arrival, you’ll notice the main entrance to the sports centre, complete with goalball signage and wayfinding Zapvision technology. For this event, please use the entrance located at the rear of the building. Before entering the main reception, turn left and follow the building along the left-hand side, then turn right and continue until you reach another entrance with goalball signage. Enter through this door, where you’ll find a welcome desk staffed by a Fen Tigers representative. You can ask any questions there, purchase a raffle ticket, and pick up or return audio description headsets. If you need assistance or prefer to be guided, you can enter through the main reception and ask for help at the desk.
Accessibility
Zapvision Technology, a fully accessible wayfinding solution, will be integrated into the event. This will include:
- Auditory Cues: Voice-guided directions or sound beacons to help locate key areas within the venue assist those who are blind or have low vision.
- Digital Tools: Technology that will provide information and aids to enhance experience at the event.
This event is designed with blind and partially sighted people in mind. All facilities are contained within the same building and are less than a minutes’ walk from each other.
Audio descriptive commentary will be available throughout the weekend. A limited number of single-jack headphones will be provided for this service, but we encourage you to bring your own 3.5mm standard sized jack headphones if possible.
There is wheelchair access across the venue.
Travel
By Train
Peterborough station is the closest main line railway station. From here it is a 25 minute taxi or 50 minutes on the bus from Queensgate Bus Station to Prince William Road bus stop, the venue is a 5 minute walk from the bus stop.
By Bus
Prince William Road bus stop which is a 5 minute walk from the venue is served by the X4 route between Peterborough and Northampton.
By Car

Spectator Travel Offer
If you are arriving into Peterborough by train, we have a limited budget available to assist with the cost of a taxi from Peterborough train station to Oundle School Sports Centre. The journey typically costs around £25 each way. If you are traveling with at least one other spectator and contact us in advance at fentigers@outlook.com , we will contribute £20 each way towards the fare upon receipt of the paid taxi bill.
You will be responsible for booking your own taxi / Uber. The taxi rank is located at Peterborough train station, to the right of the main doors. As you exit the ticket barriers, simply leave through the main exit and turn right.
Please note that if you do not contact us in advance, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to cover your costs. Reaching out beforehand allows us to confirm that sufficient budget is available to support your planned journey.
