National Schools Programme

Group of school students warming up in a goalball lessonGoalball UK, supported by BBC Children in Need, run a national programme designed to get more children and young people with a visual impairment involved in the sport at a school level. However, goalball is a fully inclusive sport which means anybody can play! Goalball is a fun, exciting and unique sport which is great for all children and young people.

The programme is made of up two elements;

  • School delivery – through extra-curricular activities, teacher training and teaching resources
  • School competition – designed to provide a competitive outlet for schools taking part in goalball
