We have extended the deadline for the 2017 End of Season Tournament (15th July) to Friday 30th June. The entry forms are below.
The tournament is open to players of all levels. There will be 3 tournaments played simultaneously in 3 sports halls – Novice, Intermediate and Elite. Players will enter as individuals and teams will be selected by Goalball UK and players will be informed of their team on arrival. The tournament will not count towards league standings and although it will be competitive, the emphasis is on fun and providing players with the opportunity to play with players from other clubs.
Anyone can enter, even if you are not part of a club.
In addition to these tournaments, this year we will be running a junior training session and competition which is open to any junior players. This is the first time we have a junior element at our end of season competition and we hope to get as any junior players to the competition as possible.
Following the tournament there will be the end of season presentations for the league awards, top goal scorers, player of the season and service to sport award. There will then be the opportunity for everyone to socialise with food served between 5 – 6pm at the café at EIS.
Venue – English Institute of Sport, Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA
Cost – £5 per player (includes food after competition and a drink).
