Goalball UK have taken away a young, enthusiastic and very talent group of players to test their skills against the best that Denmark has to offer. Their journey started with a flight to Copenhagen, two trains to Odense and then a bus to the tournament venue on the island of Fyn.
Over two days of competition the squad excelled as individuals and as a team eventually winning all three-group games to finish top of division 2. The final game proved to be the biggest test against a Danish ‘Allstars’ team compromising of two of the men’s starting line up that represented Demark at the European B Championships in Portugal 2016.
