This Girl Can – Competition Day

On Saturday 9th April 2016 Goalball UK ran our first ‘This Girl Can – Competition Day’. The aim of the day was to play Goalball in a fun, relaxed and friendly environment, whilst learning from each other and developing everyones skills and knowledge.

The day proved to be a huge success with players of different ages and experience levels from clubs across the UK including:-

Croysutt Warriors GC
Fen Tigers GC
Glasgow GC
Nottinghamshire Sheriffs GC
West Yorkshire GC
York St.Johns GC

Special thanks to Dina Murdie, Aaron Ford, Becky Ashworth and GB Women’s Goalball Squad representatives for running the event and making our first event a huge success. Congratulations to everyone who took part and watch this space for more ‘This Girl Can’ events next season!
