Twenty-two goalballers from clubs throughout Yorkshire, together with 3 ‘exiles’ (players officially from the county but who currently play for Nottingham) came together at Armley Leisure Centre in Leeds on Sunday 8th February.
Initially some ‘friendly’ games were played with the Alligators (Phil Green, Michael Thornton and Taylor Vasey) winning Group 1 and Ajax (Ebrahim Lambat, Philippa Swettenham and Sidney Tambin) winning Group 2.
This was followed by some club games with Scarborough just beating the Exiles to 1st place due to a fractionally better goal difference (+9 compared to +8). West Yorkshire (2) finished 3rd, South Yorkshire 4th, York 5th and West Yorkshire (1) 6th.
