In 2 weeks, 15 tandems will be setting off from Morecambe in Lancashire to cycle the 170 Coast to Coast miles to Bridlington in East Yorkshire, to raise money for Goalball UK.

Each week we are introducing you to 2 of the participants:

Amanda Macey
Amanda Macey
Amanda from North Yorkshire enjoys walking and is a lapsed cyclist wishing to get back into the saddle. Currently she swims three or four times a week, and is a Cub Scout Leader. Amanda is planning to leave her husband home alone with their 3 year old black Labrador dog ‘Dart’ whilst cycling The Way of the Roses. She says she is looking forward to meeting everyone, and being part of the team taking up the challenge of crossing the country by cycling the 170 miles from coast to coast.
Rachel McHale
Rachel McHale
