From 16th – 20th April our GB women’s squad flew to Suprasl in Poland to compete in their final preparation tournament before heading to Korea for the World IBSA Games in May.
The team of Georgie Bullen (Leicester), Laura Perry (RNC Hereford), Sarah Leiter (Cambridge), Andrea Logan (Glasgow) and Antonia Bunyan (York) played against two of the top teams from Europe, Turkey A and B (who have already qualified for Rio 2016 Paralympic Games) and Israel who are aiming for a top 4 finish at the IBSA World Games.

3rd / 4th Playoff: GB 0 – Turkey B 3
Overall it was a good performance, with many positives to take away from the tournament in the run up to the World Games. A special mention to Antonia Bunyan who scored against Israel with her first shot in an international match.
