The Goalball UK Annual Coaching Conference was held in Birmingham over the weekend of October 11th and 12th.
Workshops were led by GB Head Coaches Aaron Ford and Faye Dale and covered a range of topics including Orientation and movement, Coaching from the bench and Throwing and defending a bounce shot.
In total, 12 clubs were represented – Cambridge, Dorset, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, North East, Nottingham, RNC Hereford, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Winchester and York – so it was a great opportunity for coaches to network as well as learn new skills and drills and techniques and tactics.
