Saturday 20th September sees the 2025-26 competition season getting under way with the start of the Intermediate South League at Reading University involving 9 teams with Birmingham Goalball Club looking to defend their title.  

 Dan Webster, Goalball UK Competitions & Events Officer said:  

"We hope you are ready for a new, exciting season of goalball. We are delighted to kick the season off at Reading University with the Intermediate South League. Join us throughout the season for fast paced, end to end action, as the teams battle it out for league and cup glory. I wish the best of luck to everyone for the season ahead."  

October will be a busy month of delivery for Goalball UK staff and officials. Regional tournaments in Sheffield, Oxford, and Cambridge will take place Saturday 4th October involving 18 teams. The 10 team Intermediate North League starts 11th October in Sheffield and promises to be another highly competitive season with the Northern Allstars looking to defend their league title.  

The Goalball UK Super League, the highest level of competition in the UK starts with Tournament 1 in Sheffield, 25th & 26th October. From the 8 teams entered are there are two new-look teams, the attention will be on tournament 1 to see how each team starts the season.
