Next Workshop – Coaching from the Bench

Date: 14th September 2024

Venue: English Institute of Sport Sheffield, Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA. 

Times: 9.30am – 4.30pm 

Cost: £10 per person including course materials and refreshments. 

We are able to offer this heavily discounted price with the support of the Primary Club.  

Date: 15th September 2024

Venue: The Factory Young Peoples Centre, 5 Devon Way, Longbridge, Birmingham B31 2TW. 

Times: 9.30am – 4.30pm 

Cost: £10 per person including course materials and refreshments.

What’s involved in the Coaching from the Bench workshop?

The one-day workshop will be delivered by experienced coaches and Goalball UK staff and is a mixture of theory and practical delivery.

The workshop will:

  • Introduce and develop best practice while coaching from the bench
  • Develop your knowledge of key rules and how to apply them in game situations
  • Provide you with personal feedback to help you improve your coaching from the bench
  • Provide you with a number of resources to help you develop your tournament coaching

You need to be in attendance for the full duration of the workshop.

Who is the workshop for?

Individuals who are currently coaching or looking to coach in the future at Goalball UK competitions and would like improve their  knowledge and practical delivery. Attendees must be based and working within a Goalball UK affiliated club or developing area.

Attendees must be 16 or older at the time of the workshop.
