Over the spring and summer, the Clubs and Competitions Committee at Goalball UK has been working hard to secure venues for the upcoming 2021/22 season. It has also been a priority to process entries from clubs for the new campaign.
With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that over 90% of the venues are now confirmed for the 2021/22 season, while entries have been confirmed for the Intermediate Leagues (North and South) and the Elite Super League. Entries for the first round of Novice tournaments are also open.
Elite Super League – Confirmed Teams (Nine)
Birmingham, Cambridge Dons, Croysutt Warriors, Fen Tigers, Fenland Tigers, Northern Allstars, Phoenix Blaze, RNC Academy, and Winchester Kings.
Intermediate North League – Confirmed Teams (Nine)
Blackburn, Fen Tigers, Kirklees, Lancashire Lions, Mersey Sharks, Nottingham Sheriffs, Scarborough Panthers, West Yorkshire, and York St John.
Intermediate South League – Confirmed Teams (Nine)
Birmingham, Cambridge Gown, Cambridge Town, Croysutt Crusaders, Croysutt Warriors, London Elephants, RNC Academy, RNC Hereford, and Winchester Kings.
All competition dates and venues will be hosted on the fixtures page and results from leagues and tournaments will be found on the results page. There are also individual pages for the Novice Leagues, Intermediate Leagues, and Elite Super League, which will contain the league tables and goal scorer statistics.

“We want to say a massive thank you to the goalball family for your patience during this period. We know that so many of you are eager to get back on the court to play competitively again.
“There have been a lot of new obstacles that we have had to contend with, primarily around introducing new measures to ensure everyone is kept safe, but we feel that the progress we have made is lining the new campaign up to be of the best yet.”
The season starts Saturday 25th September with Matchday 1 in the Intermediate North League at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.
